We're off to Florida. Mom, Dad, Tim, Alli, Bella, Ernie, Wyatt and I flew out on Wednesday, March 7 for sunny Florida. Our cousin Clinton is getting married to Cassie on Saturday and we were all able to extend the vacation on either side of the wedding. This was Izabella's first flight and Wyatt's 5th. Both did great on the trip! Ready to enjoy some sunshine!!!
Can you believe this is all of our luggage? We surely couldn't have forgotten anything!!! Actually we did leave a suitcase at the airport and had to return to pick it up...then we realized, no extra baby wipes, no sunglasses for me, no toothbrush for Alli, not enough diapers for either child, and we continue to think of other things forgotten...unreal!
Izabella's first dip in the swimming pool-she loved it! The water was nice and warm. Tim even took her under for the first time and it didn't even phase her. She just cooed and talked the entire time.
Wyatt did great with his water wings. He would even float by himself a few times. Wyatt loves swimming. He kept saying, "My swim in poooool!" He made some new friends at the pool and swam for about 1 hour!
Look at these two! Izabella loves to watch Wyatt and he is really enjoing her now that she is more vocal and animated. They looked too cute in their green-ready for dinner. We are having a great time. The weather has been great. We go to the beach in the morning. We come back to the condo for lunch and spend the afternoon at the pool. What a life!
We have really enjoyed spending time with each other. We are hoping to make this an annual trip.
Easter Dinner was at our house this year. We enjoyed the company of Allison's family and Grandma and Papaw Maines as well. It is so fun to get together with cousin Bella too...she is really getting so fun to play with! Great to be with friends and family on this special day!
Here is our family that lives in Florida. Shannon (in red) and Jonathan (tallest) got married in November. We are so glad we were able to come down for the wedding to be with Clinton and Cassie as well. It was great to see everyone.
